Pools-t (Producing Open Online Learning System - Tools) has been approved for an EU grant in the period 2008-2010. POOLS-T is coordinated by "Syddansk Erhvervsskole Odense-Vejle", the development teams come from Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, and Scotland. EfVET has been chosen as dissemination partner with access to thousands of vocational colleges across Europe.

The project will develop tools for the CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning) as well as a guide on how to apply the tools in a CLIL context.

The tools will convert texts and web pages to html pages where all words are hyperlinked to free online dictionaries covering many combinations of European languages. The application will have support for audio, video and graphics to enrich / support the text content.

Markin

Markin is a Windows program which runs on the teacher's computer. It can import a student's text for marking by pasting from the clipboard, or directly from an RTF or text file.
Once the text has been imported, Markin provides all the tools a teacher needs to mark and annotate the text.
When marking is complete, the teacher can export the marked text as an RTF file for loading into a word-processor, or as a web page so that students can view the marked text in a web browser. Marked work can even be emailed directly back to the student, all from within the Markin program.

This library consists of about 3000 images which we hope will be useful in the teaching of basic vocabulary in a variety of languages. The characters and objects depicted are as culturally neutral as we could make them.
This is not a huge resource of graphics; its purpose is to provide a set of those graphics most basic and useful for low-level language-teaching, and at the same time, to make them as easily searchable as possible.
The 3000 images consist of 1500 pairs. One member of each pair has a transparent background just big enough to fit the image, the other has a white background 110 by 110 pixels.

TexToys is a suite of two authoring programs, WebRhubarb and WebSequitur. The programs are used to create web pages (HTML documents) which contain interactive language-learning exercises. The exercises are based on the Rhubarb and Sequitur programs originally developed by John and Muriel Higgins.

Con esta herramientas se pueden elaborar ejercicios interactivos (relación de columnas, ordenar oraciones, crucigramas, preguntas de opción múltiple y llenar huecos) como ejercicios de auto evaluación y comprensión de textos o temas.Tal vez el único inconveniente es que para emplearlo de una manera eficaz hay que revisar el tutorial completo y este es un poco extenso.
